Dried Fruit
1. Are Newman\'s Own Organics dried Apricots supposed to be dark in color?
Yes! Organic Apricots will be anywhere from light peach in color to light tan to dark brown. Organic apricots will always have the dark look because there is no sulfur dioxide added to preserve their bright color after the drying process. Sulfur dioxide is strictly prohibited in organic food items and we are happy to abide by that rule. Also, we recommend storing all dried fruit items in your refrigerator. This will help to maintain optimum freshness right up to the expiration date.
2. Are Newman's Own Organics dried fruit products certified kosher?
All of Newman's Own Organics dried fruit products are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union. You will find the circle U symbol on all Newmans dried fruit packaging.
3. Are Newman's Own Organics dried fruit products gluten and allergen free?
All of our dried fruit products are produced in a facility that is peanut, tree nut, milk, gluten, and casein free. All of our products that contain allergens are packed in a separate facility and strict procedures are in place to prevent cross contamination.
4. Is Sulfur Dioxide added to Newman's Own Organics dried fruit products?
No, Sulfur Dioxide is expressly prohibited by the California Organic Foods Act of 1990. All of Newmans Own Organics Organic dried fruit products are 100% USDA Organic, with no additives or preservatives. |

These are the best dried cranberries ever. I sometimes pay extra for organic foods and this was more economical than the more notable non-organic brands.

Newman's cranberries are all the other reviews say- really good. If you add them when you start to cook hot cereals (like oatmeal, kamut, rye etc) they puff up to almost fresh size. Good price, good product, good for you.

I first bought these in a grocery store, but I believe Amazon's price is better so I buy them here regularly. I like to buy Newman's Own products and organic is also important. The cranberries have good flavor and texture.

These cranberries are moist and not rubbery at all. There is not too much added sugar either, so the tartness is just right. The taste is very fresh too.
Great tasty fresh cranberries and GREAT price on Amazon

These are awesome cranberries and they are cheaper here than in other larger whole foods type places. I like that there are individual packets so they don't get dried out. Perfect!
